On Friday, October 6th, the Technology Learning Collaborative (TLC) hosted its 5th Annual Tech-Ed Conference at Parkway Central Library. This year’s theme was "Talking about i-Generation", which showcased both the application and the overall impact of technology for different age groups. The conference started with a multi-generational panel discussion focusing on the end-user’s experience with digital technology. Check out the pre-recorded live stream from PhillyCAM's Facebook page.
Attendees could then choose from eight sessions in three different tracks: Senior, Adult, and Youth. Session presenters covered topics such as assistive technology, identity theft/internet scams, employment readiness, workforce development, and the Maker movement.
TLC is an education association of service organizations from throughout Philadelphia committed to leveraging technology resources to reduce poverty, improve public health, decrease homelessness, mobilize through media, and prepare individuals and communities to be more employable.
