Free Library of Comic Con 2017 Wrap-Up!

By J. Matthew C. RSS Wed, April 19, 2017

Wow, what a success that was!

2017 marked our third annual Free Library of Comic Con and it was our biggest yet!

To all of you who came—Thank You! You are the reason we’re able to do great programs like Free Library of Comic Con that are fun for everyone and empowering to local artists, publishers, and performers. Without you and your input, there would be no FLoCC.

We also thank all of the presenters, vendors, and workshop leaders for their contributions! Here's just a sampling from this year's comic con:

Kelly Phillips running the Dirty Diamonds table in the lobby.

Artist’s Alley: (from left to right) Jamar Nicholas, Cyn Why, Andrea Tsurumi, and Box Brown.

Diversity in Comics Panel with (from left to right) Janelle Smith, Cyn Why, Andrea Tsurumi, Jamar Nicholas, and Joe Turner

Kids drawing Pinkie Pie at the My Little Pony drawing workshop hosted by Diana Leto

Jason Richardson of J1 Studios running the cosplay contest.

Teen cosplayer Hieu Nguyen in the cosplay contest.

Adult cosplayer Rose Grieve dressed as Pearl from Steven Universe.

We had such great content this year, and we can’t wait to show you all what we’ve got in store for 2018.

FLoCC returns on May 12, 2018! Do you have suggestions for future FLoCC programming or comments on something we did really well? Let us know here!
