Stay Cool at the Library! Extended Hours for Wednesday, July 6 through Friday, July 8

Numerous Free Library locations will serve as cooling centers,where residents can get out of the heat and into an air-conditioned space with access to books, computers, wireless internet, and other library amenities.
The Free Library locations listed below will be open for the following extended hours on Wednesday, July 6 through Thursday, July 7:
- Charles L. Durham, 3320 Haverford Avenue, open until 7:00 p.m.
- Frankford, 4634 Frankford Avenue, open until 7:00 p.m.
- Haddington, 446 North 65th Street, open until 7:00 p.m.
- Independence, 18 South 7th Street, open until 8:00 p.m.
- Joseph E. Coleman Northwest Regional, 68 West Chelten Avenue, open until 8:00 p.m.
- Katharine Drexel, 11099 Knights Road, open until 8:00 p.m.
- Kingsessing, 1201 South 51st Street, open until 7:00 p.m.
- McPherson Square, 601 East Indiana Avenue, open until 7:00 p.m.
- South Philadelphia, 1700 South Broad Street, open until 8:00 p.m.
- Welsh Road, 9233 Roosevelt Boulevard, open until 8:00 p.m.
- Wynnefield, 5325 Overbrook Avenue, open until 8:00 p.m.
- Wyoming, 231 East Wyoming Avenue, open until 8:00 p.m.
On Friday, July 8, all of the above Free Library locations will close at 6:00 p.m.
