From t-shirts to sheep-shaped soap or “Pope Soap” and candles inscribed with Pope quotes, the homemade products are meant to inspire and to employ. “Our homemade gift line employs more than 40 residents.” Scarlett McCahill is the social enterprise manager and says project home residents make the products during under the direction of artisans, then they sell them at the Project Home Boutique, Free Library Cafe and, of course, online, giving these residents a steady paycheck.
