Here are the Top 10 ebooks downloaded from the Free Library's OverDrive Digital Library in August 2014.

More than 67,000 ebooks were checked out and downloaded for the month!

Taking the number one spot this month is Susan Elizabeth Phillips' feel good Gothic-tinged romance Heroes Are My Weakness. It along with other Romance genre titles captured the majority of the spots in this month's Top 10. Other notable mentions include Amy Bloom's adventurous adolescent trip through the 1940s, Lucky Us, the newest Jack Reacher novel from Lee Child, and other various titles from the Mystery and Suspense Thriller genre.

The following list comprises titles from across all genres, downloaded from both our website and mobile site.

Plucky protagonist Stephanie Plum always seemed to gets involved in wacky hijinks and the holiday themes and supernatural elements mix well with the humorous mysteries that unfold in these stories.

5. Love Letters by Debbie Macomber Love Letters (fiction, romance)
