Donna Tartt's highly acclaimed novel The Goldfinch took the #1 spot for November 2013. Overall, romance ruled this past month, taking 5 out of the top 10 spots. The hunger for everything vampire-related is still strong with readers as well with After Dead, the posthumous book in the Sookie Stackhouse series (the inspiration for the television show True Blood), making an appearance in this month's top 10 list.

The following list comprises fiction and nonfiction titles from across all genres, downloaded from both our website and mobile site.

The dialogue is snarky and funny, but still has a romantic soul.
5.		After Dead (fiction, fantasy) by Charlaine Harris The Sookie Stackhouse series may be dead, but the fans demanded it be brought back to life. Charlaine Harris in return gave them After Dead, a coda that ties up all the characters lives and loose ends. Extensive interior art by acclaimed Sookie artist Lisa Desimini, including a Sookieverse Alphabet, color endpapers, and several full-page black and white interior illustrations round out a must read books for fans of this series!
6.		Duke of Midnight (fiction, historical romance) by Elizabeth Hoyt The 6th installment in the Maiden Lane series, Elizabeth Hoyt pens another steamy historical romance with just enough mystery to keep you guessing where everyone's true intentions lie. Blackmail, temptation, and passion! Oh My!
7.		No Good Duke Goes Unpunished (fiction, historical romance) by Sarah MacLean A rogue, a lady, and a scoundrel round out the players in Sarah MacLean's latest romance, No Good Duke Goes Unpunished. A dark, intense, and emotional story unfolds with complex characters delivering deliciously decadent dialogue.
8.		The Fault in Our Stars (YA fiction) by John Green A tearjerker of epic proportions, this young adult novel about a terminally ill girl will tug at your heartstrings and question your own mortality in the process. An emotionally moving tale of life, love, death, and the human condition. A must read!
9.		Rumor Has It (fiction, romance) by Jill Shalvis Special Ops soldier Griffin Reid meets 4th grade science teacher Kate Evans and it's love at first sight. A cute and quirky contemporary romance filled with fun dialogue and many steamy scenes.
