As the temperature continues to rise this week, a number of Free Library of Philadelphia neighborhood locations will serve as official cooling centers, where residents can get out of the heat and into an air-conditioned space with access to books, computers, wireless internet, and other library amenities. The City has declared an Excessive Heat Warning beginning today and ending at 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 20. Daytime temperatures this week are expected to be in the mid to high 90s.
