July is a month full of celebrations. In the United States, the most popular day in July is Independence Day, July 4th, when we celebrate the signing of the Declaration of Independence and the birth of the United States of America.
In celebration of Independence Day, help your preschooler to become a future “independent reader” by declaring your commitment to develop five important pre-literacy skills.
Sing
Talk
Write
Play
Read
Have fun reading The Baby's Word Book, Ruby's Potty, and Maisy's First Clock. All of these will encourage “independent” milestones in your child’s life!
