Yesterday, the New York Times released their picks for the 10 Best Books of 2010. I haven't read all of the books on their list, but I was heartened to see that Emma Donoghue's Room made it. Room would definitely make my personal Best of 2010 list! Click here to read about why I love this book so much.

I was also pleased to see that Freedom by Jonathan Franzen, Cleopatra: A Life by Stacy Schiff, and A Visit from the Goon Squad by Jennifer Egan made the list, as all three have visited Parkway Central Library this year as part of our award-winning Author Events series.
