POPULAR COOKBOOK AUTHORS TO VISIT THE FREE LIBRARY’S CULINARY LITERACY CENTER
Favorite food personalities will dish about their new cookbooks
PHILADELPHIA, March 15, 2018—The Culinary Literacy Center (CLC) at the Parkway Central Library is excited to host Cookbook Buzz: Authors Dish at the Free Library, which will bring a panel of cookbook authors to discuss their work and upcoming cookbooks, on Monday, April 16 at 6:00 p.m. Attendees can spend the evening dishing with three food personalities: Ruth Reichl, food critic, former editor-in-chief of Gourmet magazine, and bestselling author of My Kitchen Year: 136 Recipes that Saved My Life (Random House); Julia Collin Davison, host of America’s Test Kitchen and co-author of Cooking at Home With Bridget & Julia (America’s Test Kitchen); and Jodi Moreno, a natural-foods chef, photographer, and author of More with Less: Whole Food Cooking Made Irresistibly Simple (Roost Books).
After the authors’ speak, there will be an audience Q&A. A book signing will follow the talk. Cookbooks will be available for purchase at the event. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at freelibrarycook.eventbrite.com. All attendees will receive a free recipe book that includes recipes from Ruth Reichl's My Kitchen Year paired with the perfect audiobook.
