FREE LIBRARY AND BRÛLÉE CATERING LAUNCH ROOFTOP BEER GARDEN SERIES AT PARKWAY CENTRAL LIBRARY

The spring beer gardens will be held on Thursdays in May and June beginning May 18

PHILADELPHIA, May 15, 2017—The Free Library of Philadelphia’s Parkway Central Library, in collaboration with Brûlée Catering, will host Brews & Views, a spring beer garden series held on the Parkway Central Library’s Skyline Terrace. Attendees can enjoy drinks and take in spectacular views of the city on Thursdays from May 18 to June 29. The beer garden will be open from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m.

The beer garden is free to enter and no advance registration is required. Guests must be 21 and up to attend; staff will check IDs before allowing guests up to the rooftop. Local craft beers, wine, and refreshing cocktails will be available to purchase, along with a menu of made-to-order snacks from Brûlée's chefs. The menu will vary from week to week; the kick-off menu  will include nachos, pretzels, cheese plates, sandwiches, and more.

There will also be entertainment every week to energize the crowd. In addition, the street team from radio sponsor Today’s 96.5 will be on-site each week. Listeners should tune to Today's 96.5 for details. And in an effort to ensure guests’ safety, the Library has enlisted Lyft as its official ride-share partner. Lyft will offer beer-garden attendees ride discounts to and from the Parkway Central Library, via a weekly promo code.
