MEDIA ALERT: HADDINGTON LIBRARY CELEBRATES 100TH ANNIVERSARY

    1:00 – Remarks
    4:00 – Philadanco dance performance
    5:00 – The Village of Arts and Humanities hip-hop performance

PHILADELPHIA, December 2, 2015—Join the Haddington Library community in celebrating its 100th anniversary! Opened on December 3, 1915, this library has served as a cornerstone of its community over the past century, offering unique programming for seniors, partnering with elementary school classes, and hosting a weekly Teen Café.

Following remarks from Free Library President and Director Siobhan Reardon and a presentation of service awards to community members, there will be a cake cutting to recognize this special occasion. There will also be a dance performance from Philadanco School of Dance Arts and a hip-hop dance performance from The Village of Arts and Humanities.
