FREE LIBRARY OF PHILADELPHIA’S CERTIFIED APPLICATION COUNSELORS READY TO HELP PHILADELPHIANS SIGN UP FOR HEALTH INSURANCE UNDER THE AFFORDABLE CARE ACT
PHILADELPHIA, December 16, 2013—The Free Library of Philadelphia is pleased to help individuals sign up for health insurance coverage under the Affordable Care Act by offering free appointments with Certified Application Counselors at several libraries throughout the city. For the 210,000 adults in Philadelphia who lack health insurance, this invaluable service will help them secure coverage for themselves and their families with the expert guidance of a trained counselor.
Individuals seeking help with their insurance applications should call their preferred Free Library location from the list below to make an appointment with a Certified Application Counselor. The following Free Library locations are now accepting appointments:

In addition, the Tech Lab at the Parkway Central Library, 1901 Vine Street, will offer regular open hours from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., during which time individuals can drop in for Affordable Care Act assistance without an appointment. Certified Application Counselors will be available on a first come, first served basis. This drop-in service will be available on the following dates: January 10, 13, 24, and 27; February 3, 14, and 28; March 3, 10, 14, 17, 21, 24, 28, and 31.
